We have received instructions by cable from Messrs. Siemens China Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd., 12, Des Voeux Road, Central, Powell's Building, Hong-Kong, for one of our Double Cylinder "XXXV" Two -Cycle Semi-Diesel Vertical Crude Oil Engines, value f.o.b. English Port £695, but before accepting the order we shall be glad to know if it will be permissable for us to proceed with the manufacture.
We are anxious to be quite sure that this Firm will not be treated as an enemy Firm.
This is the first transaction we have had with them, and we shall be glad, therefore, to know that it will be in order for us to proceed with the manufacture of the Engine referred to.
